Even the sitcoms are moving to Brooklyn. Sad, but for many, profitable...

Florida, Florida, Florida. What the fuck? 58,000 absentee ballots have vanished into thin air.

George W. Bush flips you off instead of the other way around, for once.

* * *

The most interesting writing about my hometown of Lexington, KY I've ever seen.  Author Rob Rabiee even manages to remember a time when Lexington was cool or hip or something.  I'd never heard about that before, but then, I didn't move to Kentucky until 1983.

The remains of a previously unknown species of "little people" have been discovered on an island near Bali.  They stood three and half feet tall, likely made tools, and for awhile coexisted with modern humans.

In other skeletal news, the remains of Mozart's relatives are being exhumed in order to determine if a certain skull really does belong to the 18th century composer.

* * *

I meant to say this last week: If you go to Chicago, go to the restaurant Coco Pazzo.  Head Chef Tony Priolo makes incredible food, and he is the nicest guy in the world, to boot.  Eating there was one of the best dining experiences of my life.

The United States was not, in any way, founded upon religious principles.  In fact, as this article explains, in most cases it was just the opposite, and Republicans need to keep that in mind.
