I can't be bothered to come up with a clever comment for this one, because it's so funny and strange on its own I wouldn't be able to top it...I'll just leave you with the hint that it involves a beaver's dam and a wad of stolen cash...

Why the Second Bush term is going to be even worse than the first...

* * *

John Kerry apparently has $45 million left in campaign funds. I don't understand this. With such a close election, wouldn't it have made sense to spend that money on advertising? Or something? Couldn't $45 million maybe have made the difference? You know, because elections in this country are actually bidding wars.

Each of the books on this list risked censorship in the United States this past year.

* * *

I hardly think that today's pop music debases the, um, moral integrity that was Roman Gladiator fights.  Let's worry about the physical damage this concert might cause, instead.

I'd forgotten that student rush tickets to the New York Philharmonic are only $10. This has to be one of the best deals in all of New York City.

Literary journal Small Spiral Notebook is hosting a fundraiser tonight (Friday) to reaise money for their second print issue.

I have to cut this short today because my computer keeps crashing and I don't know why...
